Montreal resident Neil Haboush is probably most well-known across the internet for his musings on sports, from basketball to football to his beloved golf. His commentaries and tips on the subject are often different than the norm, emphasizing self-improvement and philosophy of sport over competition. This approach ultimately stems from Neil Haboush’s commitment to philanthropy and community service that he is currently putting into practice in the Montreal area.

Neil Haboush’s career in business has always been underpinned by his desire to do good within the community that houses his enterprise. From his start as a founder of a successful women’s sportswear company to his current position as sales manager at Level One Data Services in Montreal, Neil Haboush has focused on giving back to the community in various ways. He has been involved with local community organizations such as St. George’s Church, and has also combined his love of sport with community involvement by being a member of the Beaconsfield Golf club in Montreal.

Neil Haboush espouses the expression “you get what you give” by donating extensively to charities and raising awareness about helping emerging markets in developing countries. In his everyday life in Montreal, Neil Haboush strives to better himself so as to be an example to those around him.

Neil Haboush, client relations software community leader and sports enthusiast, weighs in on the new Windows 8 OS.

With the release of Windows 8, Microsoft has finally taken a huge step away from the traditional way that users interact with a computer. While Apple continues to separate the user experience for desktops and touch devices like iPads, with Windows 8 Microsoft has transformed and standardized user interaction across all platforms, from tablets to desktops. The new OS is sleek, simple and intuitive, but represents a large departure from the familiar start-menu-taskbar way of navigating Windows of old. Now, the start menu is splayed out using interactive squares across the screen, and multiple tasks are managed with sweeps and swipes. This is great for tablets, but requires unnatural mouse movements on desktops, which is why a more traditional taskbar option is built in for users wanting the original Windows experience. While the learning curve may be a bit steep, I think that this is definitely a bold step in the right direction and look forward to how this will shape the future of computing to come.

If you’ve ever read a blog post about sports by Neil Haboush, you probably have a sense of how deeply he ponders the subject. Whether it’s about basketball, football, surfing or golf, Neil Haboush’s unique view of sport comes through every time. Golf in particular is a favourite topic of his, and the nature of the sport lends itself easily to more subtle, nuanced approaches. One cannot simply watch or be taught how to play golf and succeed, there is a whole world of knowledge and experience that must be absorbed through a combination of practice and reflection. Neil Haboush’s golf tips go beyond the standard, cookie-cutter recommendations that litter the internet and drive at the heart of the game: it’s about individuality, personal achievement, reflection and dedication. All of these factors can be seen in everything Neil Haboush does, from sports to business to charity work.

The emerging markets of the world are the economies which are showing rapid growth in technology and industrialization. They are becoming the favorite place for the developed countries to do business.

The top business markets of the countries which come to our mind while discussing the Emerging Markets are China, India, Russia, Brazil, Turkey and South Korea. Among these, it is said that the economies of China and India are the largest at this point. The speed with which their economies are growing is overwhelming and the field in which the Asians are progressing the most is the IT sector.

Financial reports reveal that these emerging markets were responsible for almost half of the world’s GDP in 2006 alone and their economic growth rate is still surprisingly more than the already developed economies. This is the reason why many corporations especially the companies which have just started doing business outside of their country prefer to do business in the emerging market region and it is also the reason behind their success factor.

Experience & learning lessons over the course of years in business led Neil Haboush to open up a women sportswear manufacturing business of his own. In few years, his business developed into one of the most reputable manufacturing firms earning him fame. However in 1988 due to policies of free trade, he was forced to shut it down.
This was only the end of one era of Neil Haboush’s life, from here he turned his interest into the customer care service sector. His curiosity and attention towards this field developed and just a few years later he launched a business consulting firm which dealt with customer service and support. His specialization in this field led him to develop some useful software which were customer service-oriented.
Now at Level One Data, Neil Haboush and his team are dedicated to developing such softwares for a big number of enterprises. The flagship product of this company was also created by Neil Haboush.
It is evident that Neil Haboush is indeed a multi-faceted personality, but this is still not all. Neil Haboush has also been a talented and versatile athlete all his life. He has also dedicated a lot of his time for charity and social service.

Only some people know that Neil Haboush didn’t start off his career in the customer care field. It took him long and striving years to get to the place where he is now. Neil Haboush was studying in Eastern Washington University, and he had been there only a year when he shifted to Montreal, Canada. There, Neil Haboush got himself enrolled in the Concordia University to complete his degree in Political Science and economics. But that was not all he was doing in his young years; he started working as a salesman at an apparel outlet on the side. This is where his interest and learning of the clothing sector began. Even after the completion of his studies he pursued the same sector; learning and developing a keen understanding of how this sector operated.
